๐ŸŒ Task Translations

Task Translations allow you to offer tasks in multiple languages so employees can complete them in their preferred language.

The system uses ๐Ÿค– AI-powered translation to automatically translate your task form content โ€” saving time and eliminating the need for manual translations.

โš™๏ธ How It Works

  • Every task includes a form (the content employees see and complete).

  • By default, the form is created in your system's default language.

  • You can add translations by selecting one or more target languages and requesting an AI translation.

  • The system automatically translates:

    • ๐Ÿท๏ธ Field labels

    • ๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ Section titles

    • ๐Ÿ”˜ Button labels

    • ๐Ÿ“ Text content within the form

Once translations are generated, employees will automatically see the task in their preferred language (based on the languages enabled in your system).

๐ŸŒ Language Setup

Before using Task Translations, make sure your system languages are configured:

  1. Go to Configuration > General

  2. Open the Languages tab

  3. Set your default language

  4. Enable additional languages

โš ๏ธ Only languages enabled here will be available as translation targets.

๐Ÿ“ Where to Find It

  1. Go to Configuration > Tasks

  2. Select the task you want to translate

  3. In the Preview panel on the right-hand side, open the ๐ŸŒ language dropdown

  4. Select "Add AI Translation" at the bottom of the list

  5. Choose one or more target languages

  6. Click "Request Translation"

โœจ The system will generate the translations automatically.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Managing Existing Translations

Once a translation has been generated, you can review, edit, or delete it using the Manage Translations button.

How to access it

  1. Go to Configuration > Tasks and select the relevant task.

  2. In the Preview panel, open the ๐ŸŒ language dropdown.

  3. Click the "Manage Translations" button.

What you can do

  • โœ๏ธ Edit a translation โ€” Select a language to open its translated form and make manual changes to any field.

  • ๐Ÿ”„ Regenerate a translation โ€” Re-run the AI translation for a specific language, useful if the original task content has been updated.

  • ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ Delete a translation โ€” Remove a language translation from the task. Employees with that language preference will fall back to the default language.

โš ๏ธ If you update the original task content, existing translations are not updated automatically. Use the Manage Translations button to regenerate or edit translations after making changes.

๐Ÿ”Ž What Gets Translated

The AI translation includes:

  • ๐Ÿท๏ธ Field labels and descriptions

  • ๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ Section titles

  • ๐Ÿ”˜ Button labels (Next, Previous, Submit)

  • ๐Ÿ“ Text and typography content within the form

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Supported Languages

The system supports 22 languages, including:

  • ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง English

  • ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท French

  • ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช German

  • ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ Dutch

  • ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ Spanish

  • ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น Italian

  • ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡น Portuguese

  • ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฑ Polish

  • And more

If a language is enabled in your system settings, it can be used for task translations.
