Understanding the Pending Task Status - Todo

A task is marked as Pending when it has been assigned but has not yet been completed by the user. Pending tasks are indicated by an hourglass icon, signaling that the task is still in progress or awaiting action.

The task will remain in Pending status until the user completes it. Once completed, the system will automatically update the status to Done.

⚠️ Important:
If a task is in To do or Pending status, the user will not be able to check in until the task is completed.

Completed (Done) Status

A task is marked as Done when the user has finished all required steps, displayed with a green checkmark icon to show successful completion. At this stage, no further action is needed, and the user is allowed to check in.

Archiving and Restoring Users and Roles

When you archive a user, their associated role is automatically archived as well. Archived roles are indicated by a trash can icon displayed next to the role.

Archiving a user does not change the status of any related tasks.

  • If a task was Done, it remains done.

  • If a task was Pending, it remains pending.

If you restore the user and also want to restore their role, open the menu (three dots) next to the archived role and select Restore.

⚠️ Important:
A restored user cannot check in until:

  1. The role is restored, and

  2. All related tasks are completed (Done).

Only once these conditions are met will the user be able to check in successfully.
