We've shipped a series of improvements across access, document handling, contractor management, and platform stability. Here's what's new.
⏱️ Configure grace periods for event types
You can now define grace periods for your event types, giving visitors more flexibility when checking in while still enforcing your site's access rules.
Grace periods can be configured from Configuration → Event Types → Timing.
What's new?
You can now set:
Grace Period Before (minutes) – Allow visitors to check in a specified number of minutes before the event starts.
Grace Period After (minutes) – Allow visitors to check in or remain on site for a specified number of minutes after the event ends.
These settings can be configured per event type, making it easy to apply different timing rules for different kinds of events.
Why use grace periods?
Grace periods help accommodate situations where attendees arrive slightly early or need a little extra time after an event has finished. This provides a smoother visitor experience while ensuring access remains controlled according to your site's policies.
Note: A site's configuration may define a maximum allowed grace period. If so, the event type cannot exceed that limit.
🚪 Physical Access & Presence
The ad-hoc check-out flow has been improved, and ID cards are no longer rejected incorrectly. We also fixed camera behaviour after selfie tasks, video playback for gate instructions in the mobile app, safety briefing playback, and browser crashes on device configuration screens.
📄 Document Processing
We clarified which file types are supported during upload and fixed a document sorting issue.
✅ Onboarding & Compliance
Language display issues in event forms have been resolved, along with event type permission visibility and incorrect required-field behaviour in job forms.
🏢 Contractor & Company Management
Contractor admin role problems after login are fixed, along with smaller UI issues in subcontracting and task permission flows. We also resolved user management issues (including removing users from companies), auto-archiving behaviour for reactivated users, permission issues in the personal portal, a site admin crash when opening user details, and layout issues in the supervisor and portal UI.
📊 Reporting & Analytics
Owner lists can now be filtered more precisely by data source. We also fixed several filter and reporting issues across the platform, sorting and display issues in company and attendance overviews, document and report filtering, and workflow issues reported by customers — including LMS test progression and batch processing errors.
⚙️ Platform & Integrations
URL handling for pagination and navigation has been improved. We also fixed company search across portals, broken registration links leading to error pages, and a range of customer-reported issues in mobile and self-service flows.
