🌟 New Features

Dashboard in Personal Portal

We've introduced a new Project Manager Dashboard to the Personal Portal. It features a high-level KPI bar for instant compliance tracking and a chronological "Upcoming Events" feed with advanced filtering. You can now quickly identify non-compliant users and deep-link directly into company or event details for faster resolution.

Configure Expiry Warning Period

Administrators can now set the lead time for initial expiry warnings directly in the General Configuration, enabling more proactive management of expiring tasks before they become an issue.

VCA Safety Certificate Check per User

Event types can now enforce VCA Basis and VCA VOL certificate requirements at the individual user level. Admins are notified when users assigned to an event do not hold the required certificate, ensuring only certified workers gain site access.

Fuzzy Name Matching for Blocklist

The blocklist now uses fuzzy/partial name matching when checking against restricted person lists, significantly reducing the risk of banned individuals bypassing security checks due to minor name variations or different name orderings.

Company Name in SMS Arrival Notifications

Host SMS notifications now include the visiting contractor's company name alongside their name, giving hosts clearer context about who is arriving on site.

Event & Sub-Event Management for Company Owners

Company admins can now view, edit, and archive events and sub-events for which their company is listed as the owner β€” including sub-events created for subcontractors.

Configurable Default Company Type for Subcontractors

Admins can now define a default company type that is automatically assigned when a subcontractor company is created via the Company Portal, replacing the previous behaviour of defaulting to the first type in the database.

πŸ› οΈ Improvements

Work Activity Certificate Task

The task interface has been updated with flexible "And/Or" document requirement logic, a refined UI layout for better readability, and visible document expiry dates to help you stay ahead of compliance deadlines.

Event Type Requirements for Subcontractors

Managers can now define "Child Event" requirements that apply specifically to subcontracted layers, enabling more accurate compliance tracking across complex project hierarchies.

Partner Portal

Filters in the Partner and Company Portals now show only data relevant to your specific context. The Event Validation UI has also been updated: if an event is invalid due to unmet Event Type requirements, the Event Type pill is now highlighted in red for immediate visibility.

Document API

The accuracy and depth of AI-powered document processing has been improved, resulting in more reliable automated data extraction and verification.

Automatic Page Refresh After Actions

Several areas of the platform now refresh automatically after an action is performed (e.g. archiving a project, completing a task), eliminating the need to manually reload the page to see updated results.

Drag & Drop Ordering for Company and Event Tasks

Administrators can now reorder company and event tasks using drag and drop, consistent with the existing behaviour for user role tasks.

"No File" Indicator for Third-Party Document Verifications

When a certificate (e.g. VCA) is verified automatically via a third-party database with no physical file attached, the document table now displays "No File" instead of leaving the entry blank β€” making it clear the verification was completed externally.

🐞 Bug Fixes & Security

  • Task access scope configuration: Site admins can once again edit the access scope configuration of tasks without encountering errors.

  • Approval permissions: Users with the correct approval permissions can now approve items as expected.

  • Site switcher in Overview: Switching between sites in the Overview no longer stops working after the first selection.

  • GDPR β€” Add Existing User dropdown: The "Add Existing User" dropdown no longer exposes all users in the system to company admins, limiting visibility to relevant users only.

  • SCC** equivalent to VCA**: SCC** certificates are now correctly recognised as equivalent to VCA** in event requirement validation logic.

  • Ghost checkouts in site logs: Erroneous ghost check-out entries no longer appear in site logs.

  • General security: Platform-wide security improvements have been implemented across all releases.

  • Stability: A number of additional minor issues and inconsistencies have been addressed to further enhance overall platform stability and user experience.
